What kinds of thinking were used to create Org-x and to let them continue to exist?

• Ego, pride, and the needs for world domination, power, and control.
• Greed, indulgences (excessive sex, drugs, pleasures, etc.).
• Deception, secrecy, lack of transparency.
• Apathy from the public. Lack of awareness and the desire to know.
• Fears by the victims and by the people who knew about Org-x but did not want to speak up.
• Lack of preparation for something like Org-x.
• Etc.
